Small business owners are often approached to contribute money or products to raise money for a worthy cause.   There are ways that you can participate in these programs as well as maximize your name and your MORGAN BROOKE business at the same time.  Your MORGAN BROOKE FUNDRAISER package is a wonderful way to help a charitable organization to raise money. 
There are several ways to handle this program. 

  • The fundraiser group handles all of the special fundraiser product sales and distribution under your sponsorship.  There are brochures and marketing tools available for this sales venue.  The group will receive 15% commission and you will receive 15% commission.  There are no Host and Booking Benefits with this package.  Some consultants give the group 20% and take 10% themselves.   20% to the charitable organization seems to be standard these days, and based on volume a 10% commission will be lots of dollars for you.
  • Both you and the fundraiser group handle the sales.  If you choose to donate your time and your sales commission, please let the company know and they will make those arrangements.

We do have guidelines for the fundraiser program.  An Independent Sales Consultant may want to do the following:

  • Donate products for the use in a silent auction, raffle, etc. 
  • Make sure that the organization gives you some acknowledgement of your gift on their brochures and program. 
  • Remember to get a tax exempt/deduction paper for your taxes.
  • Volunteer to help with the event.  This type of effort helps you to meet new people and get your name and your business more exposure.

You may not do the following:

  • You should not sell your products as Cash & Carry at these events.  It is not professional.  The products for sale are for the benefit of the charitable organization.

Fundraiser Salesperson Protocol


1. A MORGAN BROOKE Independent Sales Consultant will be the liaison between the Morgan Brooke Company and the Fundraiser Organization.

2. The Fundraiser Organization will create a committee to head the fundraiser project. The project usually needs six to eight committee members as a base.

3. The committee will do the following:

  • Get all sales materials and brochures from the Morgan Brooke Independent Sales Consultant.
  • Make sure that the Organization name is attached to each and every brochure in the appropriate position.
  • Create a master list of target contacts for sales. Every organization will contact its members to help sell the products. The Company will mail out invitation post cards if you give us a master list of names to give to the mailing house. The graphic artist at the mailing house will custom design the invitation for the event.
  • Book a “Party” to showcase and do a “kick-off” for the fundraiser project. Serve light refreshments and make it a social gathering that it fun and profitable! Shoppers can take all their items they have purchased directly from the party. There is no lengthy wait time for delivery.
  • At the party, show all committee members and guests how they can make money for their fundraiser group by buying Morgan Brooke products either at the party or on-line forever.
  • Hand out fundraiser brochures, direct the group to www.morganbrooke.com for on-line sales and explain how the system works.
  • Show potential buyers how they can help their fundraiser organization by shopping on-line with Morgan Brooke as well as with the party or brochures
  • Shop at the party or direct your buyers to shop on-line for free shipping and other discounts, making sure that all orders have the appropriate sales tax included.
  • If the fundraiser organization is a non-profit, they need to present appropriate tax identification forms to the home office.

4. The Morgan Brooke Independent Sales Consultant liaison will be available to answer any and all questions and to make sure that the project runs smoothly.

5. The Independent Sales Consultant will collect all of the forms and orders from thefundraiser organization and check them to make sure that they are correct and that the sales taxes and the payment presented are correct. All paperwork is open for view to the organization.

6. The check to the charitable organization will be made within a few days after the party and after the credit cardsand checks have cleared for payment to Morgan Brooke.
